Find Books in Other Libraries:
E-Z Borrow allows you to search more than 70 libraries (searched as three separate groups) totaling millions of volumes. Cal U. students, faculty, and staff with valid CalCards may use this system to directly request books--but not articles. Find more information about E-Z Borrow at the PALCI Web site.

WorldCat allows you to search thousands of library collections! When viewing results, you can enter your location and directly link to the item's record in local library catalogs.

Amazon provides a fairly complete listing of books in-print. Frequently includes helpful reviews by professionals and customers. Their business is selling books, so don't expect them to tell you if we have the book in our library!
Choice Reviews Online provides Web access to the entire database of CHOICE book reviews published since September 1988. Any Cal U patron can now register for an account on CRO and sign up for personalized services (Saved Search Strategies, My Lists, My Monthly Reviews, and My Profile). Click on the "Register" link on the right.
Electronic Books and Texts
Use these collections for direct access to recent, public domain, and classic books and texts.
Search the full-text of books from publishers who provide them to Google, and digitized books from Google's Library Project. Full-text of pre-1923 (public domain) books. Newer books provide either a short portion of the text around your term, or a limited number of sample pages. About Google Book Search. Note: This is just books. To search more broadly, use Google Scholar.
